It depends on your budget, privacy needs, and location. Wood gives the most classic look for the lowest upfront cost but needs periodic staining. Vinyl and aluminum cost more but need almost no maintenance, which matters more the closer you are to the salt air near Apollo Beach or Ruskin. Chain link is the most economical option for containment-only needs like dog runs or side yards.
